And she starts the new calendar year with a bang, in a quiet, confident kinda way. πŸ”₯ Thank you for being a continuous inspiration. And congrats on making that commitment! This is something I've thought a lot about in the last couple of weeks. I've started creating free gifts for my tiny audience but, after putting a lot more effort and energy into it this month, I'm desiring it to be a paid offering instead. The fear gremlins are revolting in me. Patreon is on my mind as is Substack. I'm so excited to see how you'll use this space moving forward. And even more excited to be a part of it.

Haha, I'm probably coming off as more confident than I actually am. πŸ˜…

Thank you for those encouraging words. πŸ™πŸ» Sounds like you're on the right path as well. Just ignore that fear and do it anyways. You have nothing to lose. 😊

Congrats on pushing forward past the fear and making this your job! One day I hope to be able to be a paid subscriber but can’t at the moment. However I love your work and you’re such an inspiration to me! I started a SubStack after hearing about you through Kelsey and Al and following you on YouTube and here!

Good luck on all of this going forward and I hope you get many subs! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Your writing, art, and content in general definitely has its value, and I'm positive that you're gonna see a steady increase in the number of paid subscribers in the upcoming weeks and months. Surely, we hope that you get to that good threshold where it becomes your main source of income sooner than later.

I wish you all the best on this endeavour.

I want you to know that I clicked the πŸ–€ before reading beyond the title. I love your ✍🏻 , Louise! You have been instrumental in reminding me that I, too, love to write. Since first being Introduced to you and what you do via Kelsey & Al’s podcast, much of my life has taken a turn-around, returning me to where I’ve been meant to be all along. You have my unending appreciation and gratitude. Cheers to you and all you do! I’m off to read whatever it is you wrote. πŸ˜„ Oh - please tell me the name of the board game you showed in one of your videos awhile ago. One of my sons is a gamer and particularly enjoys board games. Thanks!

Thank you so much Monica. πŸ–€ Makes me so happy to hear that you're in the right place, that's a lovely feeling. 😌

Hmmm, have I shown a board game in a video? Can't remember which one that might have been. I know I've mentioned several board games in my weekly letters here, for example Gloomhaven and Nemesis. We also play a lot of Mansions of Madness, Arkham Horror and Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu. Those are some tips you can give him. 😊

Thanks for replying, Louise. I’ll be sure to share the list of games with my son. Yes, there was a brief shot of the board game set up on a little table, I think maybe near a window - it seems it was night time, showing through the nearby window, if my memory is correct. I don’t remember for sure, but I think that video was talking about you taking some time to unwind and relieve some pressures - or maybe, I am making all of that up... who knows? 🀣 It seems the game I am thinking of looked at the quick glance to have a Middle Ages or Fantasy sort of genre feel to it, as the camera panned. I hope you won’t mind, and rather consider it a flattery, that I intend to β€œsteal” your idea of how you hang your bird artworks. I am a fledgling artist, working up the oomph to start a daily practice and actually try to learn something as I improve my skills this year. As I plan to change what hangs as skills progress, I love the idea of simply clipping sketches and such to a string like you’ve done. Thanks for that idea! I have been wracking my brain, trying to figure out how I’d like to display what I do, and a bulletin board sort of situation just hasn’t felt quite right. About the time that I’d found your channel, I learned that I’ve got quite a lot of Swedish ancestry, which makes me value when you share scenes of your surroundings all the more. Thank you again for all you do - inspiring me to continue doing what I do, too. :-) Cheers!
