I love the term "content provider". I've been grappling with the idea of being a content creator and it hasn't been sitting well with me. I don't want to be that. I keep telling myself that my art comes first, and content creation second. Being a content provider seems to sit better. It feels gentler. So thank you for that. As for boardgames, we have recently learned to play Carcassonne hunters and gatherers. Thoroughly enjoyable if you like tile laying :)

Oooh, I didn't know that expansion existed! That looks even more to my liking than the original. I've played Carcassonne more in app form, against an AI. My partner is much better at strategy than me, and I tend to get frustrated when playing these types of games against him. 😂 (That's why we mostly play co-op games...)

I usually use Notion for everything I need to write down. Substack letters, youtube video descriptions, etc.

Also I write down random ideas into one of iphone apps on the go. I don't yet have a dedicated time when I go through these notes though. But I want to establish this practice in 2023.

And I have a notebook which does kinda drafting job. As a copywriter in the past I am used to do brainstorming with a pen and paper.

There is something to be said for pen and paper, especially when it comes to creative tasks. For organization though, digital is just so practical. 😊

I have to try Notion. You're the second person in week who has suggested it. I tend to be a bit scatterbrained and disorganized in regards to planning. Also, I loved Clan of the Cave Bear! I read it when it first came out. I think I was about 12 years old at the time. I was obsessed with it too. I read all the books in the series and loved them. But when the last one came out, many years later, I couldn't get through it. I never finished it. You're right that the writing was not as good as I remembered it.
