Thank you, Louise. You are mirroring the inner process of many of us as we muck about in the business of sharing ourselves, our time, our gifts, our talents. Making peace with how the marketing/branding world rolls and being true to ourselves is an ongoing process. At least that's my experience! _/\_
I love the simplicity of what you’re expressing. And also the respect. Respect for the people on the other end of the line. I’m tired of trying to work out how to sell to an audience. I feel much more drawn to interacting with people, sharing what I’m navigating, and helping those who need my help, when they need it. A softer, more authentic alignment in this marketing hellscape of scarcity, exclusivity, and pressure based selling. Will it work? I don’t know. But I’m game to try
I so agree. Very difficult to find a good middle ground between good business practices and respect for customers. I don't think I'll ever be 100% happy with my approach, but I can keep trying. 😅
I'm still on the fence between staying the course with my coaching funnel, automations, AI sales chat bots, etc etc...and doing what I would love: just being here on substack, sharing my podcast, sharing what matters to me, and working with the people I can serve who come my way. Thing is, I need money yesterday and the latter option runs the risk of emptying already breezy bank accounts 😅

Agree, 100%. All we can do is our best, and keep evolving through it.
Just like the rest of life!
Soooooo helpful! This helps me in so many ways. Thank you for being so honest and transparent! 🙌🏼👍🏼
So happy to hear that! 🥳
