I agree totally on the overload. As someone who has recently got back to her creative endeavours, it is so easy to get lost in all the free resources. So I have started to limit myself and instead gone back to basics and just draw. After all, practice makes perfect, right? And I totally resonate on keeping the originals. Some are just too dear to the heart. P.S. You make me wanna draw birds. :)
I agree totally with the overload feeling, I bought so many courses on Domestika & skillshare, got lost in YouTube video tutorials but now, I feel like Ive lost time consuming rather than creating !
hello, I am new here :) I discovered your videos on youtube and then ended up here. I just wanted to say, as the panic over what's happening on twitter and all the social media is going on, I found your voice and writing a very calm place to rest. I love this format where you write but also post what you're watching or gaming without having to consume it in the form of 35 different "stories", but in a nice place like this. I'm happy I found this, thank you for what you do!
Welcome! Thank you so much, that is exactly what I hope to be. 🙏🏻😌
I know, right? I wish everyone I follow on IG could do that. Would be much nicer to spend more quality time with them once a week than have to go through all those little haphazard updates. Guess I'm trying to be the change I want to see in the world. 😂
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. 🖤
I absolutely love your point that what makes self-taught learning online good and helpful is also what creates its weakness and issues. That is so very true and a reminder that I really needed to hear as well, if I’m honest. I’m definitely guilty of binge watching art classes and it doesn’t help that I have a bad habit of trying to learn too many things at once. Definitely going to try your practice first advice!
Oh and congrats on finishing Death’s Door! If you ever do start a gaming channel I’d definitely check it out.

Yeah, me too! Best of luck to the both of us. 😅
Awww thank you. 😌🖤
Appreciate receiving this today, Louise. It helps clear some fog I've had all week.
Thank you, Beth. 🖤
